The Logistic Talk is one of the many digital platforms from the house to connect customers, suppliers and partners also during COVID times.

They will pave the road for smarter technologies, more sustainable concepts and green developments,“ highlights the initiator Torben Posert, Head of the Business Unit Automation at VITRONIC.
Weare looking forward to inspiring sessions that allow any logistic expert worldwide to get inspired and educated on new trends and best practices.
Two external logistics experts will kick off the virtual VITRONIC Logistic Talk: Prof. Dr. Kai-Oliver Schocke and DHL Express’ Paul Bicknell. Schocke, a renowned Professor from Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences as well as Managing Director of the Center for Logistics, Mobility, and Sustainability, will explore Frankfurt’s city logistics concepts and the metropole’s smart approaches to increase the last mile delivery efficiency. Paul Bicknell who looks back on 25 years at DHL will present the case study “Moving away from manual processes to automation,” which takes a deeper look into DHL Express’ operations in the Middle East.
The two inspirational sessions will be followed by live product presentations right out of VITRONIC’s production sites in Germany. They will focus on the latest developments of VITRONIC’s Auto-ID systems such as certified volume measurement of even small shipments on all kinds of conveyor systems and belts as well as the new state-of-the-art line scan camera.
The Logistic Talk gives all attendees a chance to network and explore further collaboration opportunities. In breakout rooms, smaller groups exchange ideas. Experts will guide these discussions, for instance, on robotics in logistics, Artificial Intelligence or other future technologies.
