VITRONIC, a global leader in industrial machine vision, will have its own booth at Pharmapack Eu-rope in Paris for the first time. The Wiesbaden-based company has over 35 years of experience in the automatic optical inspection industry and will exhibit a wide range of solutions for quality assurance in pharmaceu-tical filling and packaging processes at the trade show for pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery.
We are pleased to present our innovative solutions for the automated quality inspection of pharmaceutical packaging to a wide audience of professionals in the industry. In this area, in particular, we offer solutions that meet the highest safety standards.
The subsidiary opened its doors in March of last year to serve customers throughout the French and Southern European region.
Product safety is the top priority in the manufacturing of infusion bags (also known as IV bags), which facilitate the parenteral administration of liquid medicines and blood transfusions. Due to their irregular shape and large imprinted areas, it is particularly difficult to recognize printed text, codes and logos. VINSPEC HEALTHCARE, the innovative machine vision system from VITRONIC, uses optical inspection to reliably sort out misprinted IV bags before they are filled.
Hidden particles also present a challenge during the optical inspection of IV bags, because the large imprinted areas make them hard to detect. However, thanks to VITRONIC’s own multi-stage inspection method, they can be detected reliably. Additional VINSPEC HEALTHCARE inspection solutions inspect welded and sealed seams, check ports for proper positioning, and support Track and Trace applications.
The extensive healthcare portfolio offered by the Wiesbaden-based company also includes the optical quality inspection of glass vials (injection vials) and Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) containers. VINSPEC HEALTHCARE is a complete solution that covers all aspects of machine vision. VITRONIC offers end-to-end solutions partnered with global project management, as well as superior expertise in inline integration and validation according to GAMP guidelines. This guarantees that the products are of the highest quality and are reliably without any defects.
VITRONIC technology will be on display February 6 – 7, 2019, at Pharmapack in Paris, Hall 7.2, Booth H21.
